About Waypoint

For more than 150 years, Waypoint was part of the communities that make British Columbia unique. From its beginnings as a local brokerage, it grew to serve individuals, families and businesses across Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland and Western Canada, building lasting relationships through trusted advice, personal service and a genuine understanding of local needs.

At its height, Waypoint’s 800+ employees arranged more than 500,000 commercial, personal and auto insurance policies annually. Its advisors helped clients protect what mattered most, from their homes, vehicles and businesses to their employees and financial futures, with expert guidance and a broad range of insurance, benefits, retirement and wealth solutions.

As Waypoint grew, community remained at the heart of the organization. Over a ten-year period, it donated more than $1 million to over 250 community initiatives, reinforcing its longstanding commitment to the places where its employees and clients lived and worked.

What set Waypoint apart was its ability to combine the strength and market capacity of a large brokerage with the service, attention and local knowledge of a boutique firm. That same commitment continues as Navacord.
